SUBRATA PAUL
Sculptor Subrata Paul achieved DVA in sculpture from AFA, Kolkata in 1998. He is a young dynamic sculptor, who always explores the hidden territory of visual forms in this own comprehension.
Drawing and painting has been a major part of Subrata Paul’s life since childhood. At the age of 5, he was interested in three dimensional drawings and model making. Later he got interested in making goddess, human and animal figures in various form to explore human forms and their relation with nature.
His sculptures are conjured upon the complexities of nature and human relationship.
Subrata Paul was awarded the Best Sculptor Award in 71st All India Exhibition at AFA, Kolkata and two times certificate of merit from information Centre Kolkata.
