Artist Tapas Ghoshal delves into the ‘Antahkaran’ to create Indian Art which has a balance in its abstraction which evolves from a spiritual space .His paintings have a meditative quality in them – creating beautiful urban-scapes with the use of striking colour palettes.
Large canvases being Tapas Ghoshal’s forte, he also excels in creating paintings and Indian art in smaller formats. Despite slight cubistic distortions in his figurative executions, he searched for an inward stillness of human consciousness through dichotomy of light and shade. The geometric structures in Artist tapas Ghoshal’s paintings adds a depth and dimension further complementing his use of colours on canvas.
Tapas Ghoshal has graduated from Government College of Art And Craft Kolkata and has done his post graduation from Benaras Hindu University
